The Racor Marine FBO assembly is specifically designed to meet the filtration requirements of today’s high pressure common rail diesel injection systems. The unit is used for fuel dispensing pumps or as a primary fuel filter/water separator on large diesel engine applications.Marine FBO filters are certified to meet the ISO 10088 Small Craft Fuel System requirements, which cover vessels up to 24M in Length, however the filters are of Aluminium construction and do not meet SOLAS requirements for certification of larger registered commercial vessels, however there is a Duplex FBO (DFBO) range which is certified to LR/GL/DNV to meet the SOLAS requirements.
